So many cars can be seen today. Tires are essential for all the cars. There are a wide variety of sizes and types of tires available. Some tires are for trucks while others are for smaller vehicles. One thing is for sure, these tires wear out. It is required to take some decision at this time. You need to do something with it. If you buy new tires at a tire outlet, most of the time, they will take those tires off your hands. Sometimes the tires are discarded. They also put them up for sale to people who are just looking for a spare.

What happens when a tire is recycled?

Tires can be a big waste at times. Large tire farms dot most of the states. These comprises of thousands of tires. Most of these tires are of little use. They can be turned into ?crumb?. It is generally used as filler.

New processes such as Pyrolysis can used to turn old tires in the fuel gas. The process of devulcanization is used to turn old tires into crumb. Devulcanization is the method commonly used for turning old tires into crumb. Material can also be used for making new tires. The cost of raw materials is reduced.

The process involves heating the tires whole or in shreds, in a huge vessel, in an oxygen free environment. The rubber breaks down into smaller molecules when soft. The molecules then vaporize leaving the reactor. The vapors are burnt to use as a power source.

By using this process, companies reduce huge tires fields recycle tires for much needed fuel. This is good for the environment and good for companies wanting a good source of this type of fuel.
